papernomad: your green companion
It was about 18 months ago when I first met Christoph Rochna and Mario Bauer, who told me that they wanted to launch a new series of notebooks, phone- and tablet-sleeves made entirely from environmental friendly materials like paper and wool. Together with a major paper manufacturer they developed the patented paper which is tear- and water-resistant and biologically degradable to one hundred percent.
They named their company and the products papernomad which explains the two major benefits; first a green sustainable product and second a very personal and thus unique companion in everyday life to share your memories with.
Initially our products are just handy sleeves to protect your mobile devices – that function does not differentiate our products from the neoprene crap made in China, the two founders explain. But as soon as you start carrying your Papernomad with you for a couple of days, you can’t help but create little stories on it. It happens automatically and you need discipline to not fill the canvas too fast.
And as they say, after a short time you can´t resist to draw sketches and take some notes on the sleeve thus it becomes your very personalized companion too. Some days ago Christoph and Mario even received the Reddot Design Award 2012 for their papernomad line.

Furla and I : The Red Trend Bags
In their spring summer 2012 campaign "Furla and I", the Italian brand declares a complicity between Furla and every woman. The keyword is "simplicity", the result of intense research. To create timeless elegance.
The campaign's image draws on the interrelation of contemporary art and fashion, thus Furla collaborates with Italian artist and performer Sissi, who express her creativity through a kind of art installation, enhanced by shots from Francesco Carrozzini.

Peter Pilotto Prints for Summer 12
Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos surprised both fashionistas and fashion industry experts with one of the Top Collections for the Spring Summer 2012 season.
