French designer Isabel Marant started her fashion career at Studio Berçot, where she studied for two years, before creating her own costume jewellery line. In 1990, she extended her work to knitwear and jersey, founding “Twen”, the line that would become Isabel Marant four years later. 1995 saw her first runway show come to life, where she displayed her bohemian chic aesthetic. The Isabel Marant designer profile also includes a diffusion line called Etoile, started in 2000. Taking a step by step approach, the designer is steadily gaining global recognition. As a proof of success, her line for H&M in 2013 crashed the website and sold out in a matter of minutes.
