Boucheron is one of the most famous jewellery brands in the world. The French house was established in Paris in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron. In 1893, Boucheron was the first jeweller to move to the iconic Place Vendôme, where it also resides today. Ever since the 19th century, Boucheron has created a remarkable page in history. The brand was linked to some of the most fascinating and important characters of all time, especially royals, legendary actresses and socialites. The Boucheron pieces are thought to bring good luck. This is part of its founder’s vision who always believed in his lucky charms. Ava Gardener was one of the label’s customers and the jewels she bought became very dear to her. In fact, artist Andy Warhol, who bought Ava’s Boucheron jewels, was convinced they carried a part of her soul. The Boucheron Brand Profile is linked to other important moments in history. For example, the house made a special diadem that became one of Queen Mother Elizabeth’s favorites. Also, in 1928, Maharajah of Patiala arrived in Paris and brought with him almost 9.000 diamonds, rubies and emeralds. He asked Boucheron to create a special collection of 149 pieces using all the gems. This remained in history as the most extraordinary order ever seen on Place Vendôme. Boucheron is known for its Animaux de Collection pieces and the Serpent line, all the pieces are believed to be protective and charged with positive energy.
