Trend Colors in Paris, London, NY & Milan
The November Top Trend Colors in the streets of the four major Fashion Cities Paris, London, NY and Milan are based on an exclusive selection of leading streetstyle photographers like Scott Schuman or Wayne Tippetts and fashion bloggers like Chiara Ferragni or Mélanie Winter.
The results for New York City and London show dominant shades in Blue (Jacarta Blue, Port Gore, Nile Blue, Navy, Charade) and Green (Tiber, Teal, Petrol) while Paris and Milan fell in love with more vivid and bold colors tones in Red (Roof Terracotta, Thunderbird, Tawny Port, Old Brick, Rose Bud Cherry) with some outliers in Hot Cinnamon and Clam Shell.

After selecting the actual streetstyle images for New York in November 2011 the wearona Trend Color Analysis shows all different shades of Blue, Tiber Green, earth tones in brown, grey and green and some outliers in Tawny Port.
Our personal favourite for November is the picture of Hailey Gates by Scott Schuman showing a perfect trend outfit for NYC these days and the color match perfectly with Haider Ackermann´s trend color palette for AW 2011.

The New York City Journal
Graeme Mitchell was born in Manitoba Canada and grew up in Oregon. After studying literature and philosophy he went to NYC to work as a photographer. Convinced by his close friend Benjamin Diggles he started a photographic blog already in 2006 and in an August night with no sleep he took his first street images.
"I began just walking around with my camera at 4am with a few rolls of film in my pocket, shooting free-form, not thinking about it at all, not even thinking that I’d ever bother developing the film. It was simple therapy for the stressed out and sleep deprived." This was the start of his amazing photographic series in the streets of New York named the NYC Journal.
Since this time he became a well known photographer working for clients and publications like Dazed and Confused, Interview, W, New York Magazine, SOMA or Net-A-Porter. We really like his pictures of NY and some great portraits of upcoming painters, photographers, writers and strongly recommend his portfolio site and his excellent blog giving a lot of inspiration.

The Streets of NYC in September were heavily influenced by NY Fashionweek. Phil Oh made a great job for Vogue to document this influence - out of his work we selected our favourite trend look in Mirage Blue, Teal and Brown Rust.
By analyzing the trend images by Mr. Newton or Scott Schuman with our TFA we saw that the change from summer to autumn is reflected in a shift from bold and vivid color to shades of Red (Cerise, Shiraz) and tones in Purple, Camelot and Indigo. To see the complete color palette take a look at our TFA Channel and the corresponding analysis.

Intel Documentary about the Sartorialist
Intel released a documentary about the work of Scott Schuman, the worlds most famous Streetstyle Photographer. In the short movie you´ll see Scott´s view on the world of streetstyle photography and blogging and listen to his thoughts about his work as The Sartorialist. A behind the scenes Video which you should not miss.
Scott Schuman did a nice Shot in NYC these days showing us a colorful image of a young woman dressed in a trendy orange fur matching her natural hair as well as her red ancle boots.
Our TFA Color Analysis results in a beautiful autumn collage which reminds us of the Indian Summer as well as the multicolor spring shows of Prada, Gucci or LV for the next spring summer season.

Scott Schuman´s Men versus Boys on Runway
We just compared Scott Schuman´s actual streetstyle photos taken in Milan and Florence with outfits from SS 2010 Runway Shows (DSquared, Moschino, Coveri) in Milan. Men with attitude versus Boys in costumes show that Real Life sometimes beats Fashion Fiction.
Thank you Scott.
